2. How Our Service Process Works
Our typical service process follows these steps:
Select a Service
Choose the service you require through the Bloomynest website or application.
Share Property Details
Provide the required information, such as your property type, location, approximate area, service requirements, photographs, and preferred schedule, where applicable.
Consultation or Site Inspection
Depending on the service, we may arrange a telephone consultation, site visit, technical inspection, or other assessment to understand your requirements. Some services may be available without a preliminary site visit.
Receive a Quotation
Where applicable, we will share the proposed scope of work, pricing, materials, applicable charges, exclusions, and estimated timeline.
Confirm Your Booking
Review and approve the quotation and relevant service conditions. Your booking will be confirmed once the applicable confirmation requirements have been fulfilled.
Service Execution
The approved work will be scheduled and carried out according to the agreed scope and site conditions.
Completion and Feedback
After the service is completed, you may review the work, report any concerns, and provide feedback through the available Bloomynest channels.
The precise process may vary according to the service selected.
3. Site Inspection and Assessment
Certain services require an inspection before a final quotation or service recommendation can be provided.
During an inspection, the relevant property conditions, measurements, accessibility, surface condition, and visible issues may be assessed.
Please note:
- Initial estimates may change after a detailed site inspection.
- Concealed defects may not be identifiable during a visual or non-invasive inspection.
- Additional testing may be recommended where necessary.
- The inspection fee, if any, will be communicated before the paid inspection is confirmed.
- An inspection or estimate does not automatically confirm a full-service booking.
Where the inspection identifies additional work, we will communicate the proposed scope and applicable pricing for your approval before proceeding with that additional work.
4. Quotations and Scope of Work
The quotation or work order accepted by you will define the agreed scope of the service.
Depending on the service, the quotation may specify:
- Work to be performed
- Approximate area or measurements
- Materials and product specifications
- Labour charges
- Surface preparation requirements
- Applicable taxes and other charges
- Work excluded from the quotation
- Payment schedule
- Estimated start and completion dates
- Applicable warranty or after-service conditions
Work not expressly included in the approved quotation should be treated as outside the agreed scope.
If you request a change or additional work, the price and timeline may change. We will communicate the proposed changes for approval before carrying out the additional work, subject to applicable law.
5. Pricing and Payments
Service prices may depend on the size of the property, the condition of the site, labour requirements, material selection, accessibility, technical complexity, and the scope of work.
Customers must pay the amounts specified in the accepted quotation or booking confirmation.
Depending on the service, payment may be required in advance, at booking, in agreed instalments, or upon completion.
Before confirming a paid service, customers should review the applicable charges and payment conditions.
Any additional service, inspection, material, or other charge must be communicated in accordance with the applicable quotation and law.
For further information about payment processing, cancellations, and refunds, please refer to our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Materials and Product Selection
Materials used for a service will be based on the accepted quotation, agreed specifications, customer preferences, and product availability.
Where the quotation specifies a particular brand, product, grade, or finish, any proposed substitution should be communicated to you for approval.
Customers should review the proposed material specifications before confirming the work.
The appearance of a product or finish may vary due to lighting, surface conditions, application techniques, environmental conditions, and differences between displayed samples and actual installation.
Manufacturer warranties, where available, are subject to the applicable product warranty terms.
7. Customer Responsibilities
To help ensure smooth service delivery, customers are expected to:
- Provide accurate property and contact information.
- Ensure the person booking the service has the necessary authority to arrange the work.
- Arrange building, society, landlord, or other required permissions.
- Provide access to the property at the agreed time.
- Inform us of known hazards or relevant site conditions.
- Secure valuables and fragile belongings before work begins.
- Provide agreed access to utilities or facilities where necessary.
- Keep children, pets, and unauthorised persons away from active work areas.
- Review and approve the quotation before work begins.
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule.
- Inform us promptly of concerns affecting the service.
Customers must not request work that is unlawful or unsafe.
If the site is inaccessible, unsafe, or materially different from the information provided during booking, the service may need to be reassessed, rescheduled, or revised.
Any resulting additional charges or changes will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.
8. Service Scheduling and Delays
Service dates and completion estimates are based on the information available when the booking is confirmed. Timelines may be affected by:
- Site conditions discovered during execution
- Changes requested by the customer
- Material availability
- Weather conditions
- Access or permission issues
- Drying, curing, or setting time
- Technical requirements
- Events beyond reasonable control
If a material delay arises, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the situation and discuss appropriate next steps.
Customers should not assume that a proposed start or completion date is guaranteed unless a specific commitment has been expressly confirmed.
9. Workmanship and Service Quality
Bloomynest aims to deliver services in accordance with the accepted quotation and applicable service specifications.
The final result may depend on existing property conditions, the suitability of the selected materials, environmental conditions, maintenance, and other factors outside the agreed scope.
Where a concern arises regarding the quality or completion of the work, please contact our support team with your booking reference and a clear description of the issue.
We may review the concern, request supporting photographs, arrange an inspection, or discuss an appropriate resolution.
Any corrective work or other remedy will be assessed according to the agreed service scope, applicable warranty, and applicable law.
10. Warranties and After-Service Support
A warranty or service guarantee will apply only where it has been expressly offered for the relevant service and communicated to the customer.
The applicable warranty terms may specify:
- The period of coverage
- The work or materials covered
- Conditions for making a claim
- Maintenance requirements
- Applicable exclusions
- The process for requesting an inspection or corrective work
Customers should retain the quotation, invoice, warranty documentation, and relevant service records.
Issues arising from unrelated defects, external damage, unauthorised alterations, misuse, or conditions outside the agreed scope may not be covered by a particular warranty, subject to its terms and applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Special Terms for Thermal Scanning and Technical Reports
Thermal scanning and related inspection services are intended to assist with identifying potential property issues.
The findings depend on the conditions present during the inspection, the equipment and methods used, and the interpretation of the available observations.
A thermal image or technical report may indicate a suspected area of concern but may not independently establish the precise cause or extent of a defect. Accordingly:
- Findings should be interpreted within the scope of the service purchased.
- Additional testing may be necessary to confirm the underlying cause.
- A report does not guarantee that every concealed defect will be identified.
- A report is not a substitute for specialist engineering assessment or emergency intervention where required.
- Report delivery, payment, and access conditions will be communicated for the selected service.
Where a report is released only after payment, the applicable price and release conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
12. Safety and Access to the Property
Safety is important throughout service delivery.
Bloomynest may postpone or decline work where the site presents an immediate safety concern, the necessary permissions are unavailable, or the work cannot reasonably be performed under the existing conditions.
Customers must disclose known hazards and must not ask service personnel to undertake work that is unsafe or unlawful.
If a safety issue is discovered during execution, the affected work may be paused while the situation is assessed.
Any revised scope, additional requirements, or rescheduling will be communicated as appropriate.
13. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers who need to cancel or reschedule a service should contact Bloomynest as soon as possible.
Cancellation charges, refund eligibility, rescheduling conditions, and any applicable inspection or material costs will be governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the specific terms communicated at booking.
If Bloomynest needs to cancel or reschedule a confirmed service, we will communicate the available next steps.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with the relevant policy and applicable law.
14. Service Limitations
Although Bloomynest aims to provide appropriate solutions for customer requirements, not every property issue can be resolved through a single service.
For example, painting may not permanently resolve an underlying moisture problem, and waterproofing work may require additional investigation where the source of water ingress is concealed or inaccessible.
Similarly, inspection findings may indicate the need for further assessment before a repair solution can be recommended.
Any important limitation identified during assessment should be explained to the customer before the relevant work is approved.
Customers should ensure that the selected service is appropriate for their requirements and seek specialist advice where necessary.
15. Complaints and Service Concerns
If you are dissatisfied with a service or identify a problem, please contact Bloomynest through our available customer support channels. When submitting a complaint, include:
- Your name and registered contact details
- Booking or order reference
- Service address, where relevant
- Description of the concern
- Photographs or other supporting information, if available
Our team will review the information and determine the appropriate next steps in accordance with the applicable service terms and legal obligations. We encourage customers to report issues promptly so that relevant information can be reviewed while it remains available.
16. Privacy and Use of Property Information
Bloomynest may collect and use information necessary to arrange, deliver, document, and support your requested service.
This may include contact details, property information, photographs, booking history, inspection findings, and relevant communications.
Such information will be handled in accordance with the Bloomynest Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Customers should only provide photographs and documents they are authorised to share.
17. Changes to Service Terms
Bloomynest may update these Service Terms to reflect changes in services, operational processes, technology, or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
Where required by law, customers will be notified of material changes or asked to provide consent.
The terms applicable to a confirmed booking will be determined in accordance with the booking documentation, any applicable updates, and relevant law.
